Lifebound: Royal Sins, Book 1 Narrated by: Stella Bloom Length: 13 hrs and 44 mins
Nobody ever believed me.
Not when I was five and told them about the boy with pointy ears who saved my life in the forest. Not during thirteen miserable years of bullying and being labeled the town weirdo.
Until a guy with golden eyes and a royal guard escort shows up at my door to drop a bombshell.
That little boy? Yeah, he’s real.
And he’s a fae Prince.
And he magically linked my life to his when he saved me.
I know what you’re thinking. Lucky girl, right?
Wrong . Because now the Prince is sick and apparently, I’m the only one who can save him. How can I possibly say no?
That’s how I find myself in the fae realm, where pretty much everything either wants to kill me, eat me, or… use me for something worse. If not for the gorgeous fae who saved my life, I’d have died an hour in.
Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Grumpy has annoyingly beautiful eyes, a voice that sounds like sex, and a tattoo that screams trouble. He says his name is Rune, and he’ll take me to the Prince safely—if I do what he says.
Unfortunately for me, he looks like he’s made of shadows and really bad decisions, so of course, I follow him. But the more time we spend together, the more near-death experiences we go through, the more Rune gets under my skin. He makes most people look the other way, but he’s sweet when no one’s watching. He makes my heart do really weird things.
And just when I think my life couldn’t possibly get any crazier—it does.
Turns out, this whole saving-the-Prince business can get a girl into a lot of trouble, and I’m not entirely sure I can handle it this time.
Lifebound is a romantasy with a delicious shadow fae and a couple of very spicy scenes. You can expect tropes like: she falls first, he falls harder; touch her & die; one *horse* trop;, fae royalty; fated… but not *mates*; Prince Charming included (just not in your usual kind of way). Enjoy! ____________________________________________
Moonmarked: Royal Sins, Book 2 Narrated by: Stella Bloom, Jeffrey Holz Length: 14 hrs and 24 mins
I thought the worst was behind me.
Arriving at the Seelie Court to heal the sick prince who saved my life when I was five was supposed to be the end of my nightmarish (for the most part) trip through the fae realm.
I should have been on my way home already, far away from fae and their politics.
Instead, I’m running through unfamiliar woods with a furry friend at my heels, and magic that’s changing me from the inside out—and not in a cute “glow-up” kind of way.
The worst part? No one knows what’s happening to me—not even Rune, the drop-dead gorgeous Midnight fae who risked everything to protect me, and stole all my good senses (and my heart) in the process.
Now I’m hunted by sorcerers, wanted by the fae I left behind, and tangled in secrets I was never meant to discover.
Soon, they catch me, though. Drag me back to the Seelie Court–and even though I’m supposed to be a guest, I soon realize just how deadly a smiling fae can truly be. The Queen’s Palace is far more dangerous than the woods of Mysthaven. If it wasn’t for Rune, I’d have never survived all those thorns hidden below perfect velvet petals.
Until he’s gone, too, and I’m left all alone to face the fae royalty.
They are not what they seem, and apparently, neither am I. If I want to survive this madness, I’ll have to choose carefully who to trust. I just hope I don’t end up placing my heart—and my life—in the hands of someone who’ll break both. ____________________________________________
Fractured: Royal Sins, Book 3 Narrated by: Stella Bloom, Jeffrey Holz Length: 11 hrs and 28 mins
I was supposed to die by a knife through my heart that night.
But the stars of Verenthia have a different plan for me–which is to get kidnapped by a snow-white lynx that shouldn’t even be real, and held hostage by a sentient building.
Yes, I said building. For real.
Rune is gone. The lifebond with the Seelie Prince is broken. And I’m trapped in a court of frost and silence, hunted by a damn truth that refuses to stay buried.
And it all ties back to a dead queen whose face I just so happen to wear.
Now I have to uncover who she was, what she did both to herself and to me, and why. Because something is stirring in Verenthia, something ancient that I am most definitely not prepared for.
As luck would have it, nobody gives a shit about my feelings, but that’s okay. I’m nothing if not stubborn, and I do manage to find my way to Rune eventually. I even ended up meeting his dad.
Not the smartest move I could have made, though.
Because it turns out, the Midnight King doesn’t like surprises. Especially the kind that look like me.
