Soren Stormchaser finally has the dragon sanctuary he’s spent his whole life building. And has made himself a target in the process.
Soren’s father got too close to the truth about the Draconic Aging and Wellness Network, and what they actually do to elder dragons. Then he died of an illness no healer could explain.
It’s the same organization that’s indentured his sister, Tali, on a manufactured debt. The same organization whose President has spent years trying to buy Faorse, the one elder dragon Soren refused to sell.
And the sanctuary Faorse left him might be the key to unravelling everything.
The mountain is now his. The crystal mine beneath it that could buy Tali’s freedom is now his. And one particularly clingy hatchling has claimed Soren as his.
Crimson Wing’s nine misfits stopped being the disasters he leads. Now they’re the ones who’d burn the sky for him. Nova, a retired arena champion who chose this mountain over everything she used to be. Faye, who loves loud enough to scare off anyone who threatens what’s hers. And Elowyn, an Elvyn legal consultant who came to file paperwork and has been quietly making herself impossible to live without ever since.
His people are growing, but DAWN doesn’t lose. So when their name shows up as headline sponsor at the one event Soren can’t avoid, he has to decide how far he’ll go to protect everyone he loves.
Before someone decides to collect what they think they’re owed.
