Hordes of Hunger [TorrentX]

Hordes of Hunger is a roguelite arena slasher set in a world ravaged by monstrous creatures known simply as the Beast and its ravenous hordes. Emerging from the sea, these relentless enemies have devastated the land, leaving only Mirah standing between them and total destruction. Players take on the role of Mirah, battling through waves of increasingly difficult monsters across various 3D environments, from the ruins of her village to the safety of the castle keep. The game challenges you to craft your own combat style by choosing from a diverse arsenal of weapons and special attacks, allowing for builds ranging from swift swordfighters to powerful hammer-wielders. Strategic use of the environment, including choke points and destructible structures, is essential to surviving the onslaught. As you progress, each run offers opportunities to gain new abilities and upgrade your skills, turning Mirah into a formidable force capable of unleashing fiery swords, summoning lightning strikes, and forging divine contracts to defy death itself. Alongside the intense combat, Hordes of Hunger weaves a narrative filled with compelling characters—such as a guilt-ridden father, a reluctant prisoner, and a bloodied cook—whom you can rescue during your missions. These encounters gradually reveal the dark origins of the curse plaguing the land. Fully voiced and rich with lore, the story unfolds through successive runs, providing both challenge and intrigue for players seeking a blend of action and mystery.
