Valfaris [TorrentX]

Valfaris: Mecha Therion is a 2.5D side-scrolling shoot ’em up that continues the journey of Therion as he hunts down the malevolent Lord Vroll across a hostile alien galaxy. Players take control of Mecha Therion, a powerful weaponized suit of armor that offers a dynamic blend of ranged and melee combat. The game builds on the intense action of its predecessor by allowing players to customize their loadout with an assortment of devastating weapons, including the iconic Hellwraith minigun that fires tormented souls. Progression is driven by collecting Blood Metal, which can be used to upgrade both weapons and auxiliary components, enhancing the mecha’s combat capabilities as players push through increasingly dangerous environments. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced combat and strategic weapon management, with a variety of weapon classes to master, from heavy destroyers to swift melee arms. After completing the main campaign, players can test their skills in a new Challenge Mode where the mechanics shift to a lives-based system and weapon upgrades occur in real-time through pickups. This mode encourages high-score chasing by rewarding players for defeating enemies and destroying objects, while also introducing the risk of weapon downgrades when hit. Throughout both modes, vivid alien landscapes and relentless enemy encounters create a gripping atmosphere, making Valfaris: Mecha Therion a thrilling experience for fans of intense side-scrolling shooters.
