The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG set in the richly detailed fantasy world of Thra, where players lead a rebellion of Gelfling against the tyrannical Skeksis. Drawing from both the classic film and the Netflix series, the game features over 50 tactical battles across diverse environments—from arid deserts to lush forests—each presenting unique challenges and strategic opportunities. Players command a roster of 14 playable characters, including familiar faces, and must unite the fractured Gelfling clans to restore hope and freedom to their homeland. Gameplay centers around deep tactical combat that emphasizes careful planning and adaptability. Characters can be recruited and customized through an expansive job system, allowing players to modify abilities, assign roles, and equip gear tailored to specific encounters.
