I Am Dead [TorrentX]

I Am Dead is a thoughtfully crafted puzzle-adventure game that invites players into the whimsical afterlife of Shelmerston, a small island rich with history and secrets. You step into the shoes of Morris Lupton, the recently deceased museum curator, who is joined by the ghost of his loyal dog, Sparky. Together, they uncover an urgent threat: the island’s dormant volcano is on the verge of erupting, and it’s up to the pair to prevent disaster. As Morris and Sparky explore the island’s picturesque locations, they seek out the scattered spirits of Shelmerston’s former residents, piecing together memories and stories that reveal the island’s past and the lives that once animated its shores. The core gameplay revolves around Morris’s unique ability to see inside objects and people, almost like a supernatural X-ray, allowing players to dive into the hidden memories and histories embedded in everyday items and places. This mechanic drives both exploration and puzzle-solving, as you unravel the island’s folklore and interact with its quirky inhabitants, from tourist finches to mysterious fishfolk. The narrative weaves together themes of life, death, and memory, enriched by the charming atmosphere and gentle storytelling. Progression unfolds naturally as you collect spirits and uncover the Legend of Aggi, the figure who once silenced the volcano, ultimately guiding you toward saving Shelmerston and preserving its legacy.
