Library of Ruina (v1.1.0) [TorrentX]

Library of Ruina is a unique blend of narrative-driven strategy and card-based combat set in a sprawling, mysterious city. Players step into the role of the Library’s owner, welcoming various guests whose stories and secrets unfold through intense battles fought by your team of librarians. These confrontations play out like theatrical duels where each side uses cards and dice to outmaneuver the other. Combat is carefully strategic, as players can anticipate and counter opponents’ moves by selecting optimal cards, while dice rolls introduce an element of chance that can be influenced by in-game effects and character abilities. The emotional states of both librarians and guests add depth to the battles, heightening tension and affecting outcomes in dynamic ways. This emotional interplay not only impacts combat but also enriches the storytelling, with unique dialogues emerging depending on the flow of each encounter. As guests are defeated, they transform into “books,” which serve multiple purposes: they can be used to enhance the Library, create new librarians, or unlock additional cards and abilities for future battles. Collecting these books allows players to invite increasingly powerful and enigmatic guests, gradually uncovering the layered mysteries of the city and the Library itself. The story continues the narrative from the developer’s previous title, weaving together the fates of key characters like Angela, the Sephirot, and Roland. Through its blend of strategic gameplay, evolving storylines, and atmospheric setting, Library of Ruina offers a rich experience that challenges players to build their collection, master combat tactics, and uncover the secrets hidden within the pages of the Library.
