Superliminal (v1.10.2021.11.12.858.39) [TorrentX]

Superliminal is a first-person puzzle game that challenges players to navigate a surreal dreamscape where the rules of perception are constantly shifting. Set within the experimental confines of Dr. Pierce’s Somnasculpt dream therapy program, you find yourself trapped in a world where perspective shapes reality itself. To progress, you must manipulate objects and environments using forced perspective and optical illusions, turning everyday scenes into mind-bending puzzles that require creative thinking and a fresh way of seeing. The game’s narrative unfolds as you attempt to wake from this strange dream, guided by Dr. Pierce’s voice and his artificial intelligence assistant, whose motives become increasingly unclear as the story develops. The gameplay experience emphasizes exploration and experimentation, encouraging players to rethink spatial relationships and challenge their assumptions about size, distance, and physics. Alongside the main adventure, Superliminal offers additional features such as a developer commentary that reveals insights into its creation, and a Challenge Mode inspired by the speedrunning community that scores players based on efficiency and skill. The game also supports Steam Workshop, allowing players to import their own 3D objects and apply the same perspective-bending mechanics to custom creations. With its unique blend of narrative, optical illusions, and inventive puzzle design, Superliminal delivers a thought-provoking journey through a world where perception truly is reality.
