Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG places you in a bleak, dystopian future where survival depends on your choices and skills. Set within the Dome, a mysterious and hazardous wasteland sealed off from the outside world after a cataclysmic event known as “The Incident,” the game offers a rich narrative that unfolds as you explore the dangerous environment, uncover unique artifacts, and navigate the fractured society left in the disaster’s wake. You begin as an ordinary employee of the CRONUS Corporation, joining one of its five specialized wings, each offering distinct gameplay mechanics and story paths. As you delve deeper into the Dome, you’ll face radiation, anomalies, and hostile creatures, all while deciding which of the six factions vying for power will become your allies or enemies. Gameplay in Encased blends tactical combat, exploration, crafting, and negotiation, encouraging players to adapt their approach to survival. Whether you rely on high-tech weaponry, brute force, or charisma to talk your way out of conflicts, your choices will shape the world around you and the story’s progression. You can recruit companions with diverse backgrounds and abilities to aid you or take on the dangers alone as a lone wolf. The game’s open-world design and branching narrative emphasize meaningful decisions, from how you develop your character and what equipment you prioritize, to the moral dilemmas you face that impact who lives and who dies. With its deep role-playing systems and atmospheric setting, Encased invites players to carve their own path through a shattered world struggling to rise from the ashes.
