Circus Electrique [TorrentX]

Circus Electrique invites players into a richly imagined Victorian steampunk London, where the city’s greatest spectacle—the titular circus—becomes the last hope against a strange and violent epidemic turning ordinary citizens into dangerous foes. As members of the circus troupe, players command a diverse cast of performers, including Strongmen, Fire Blowers, Clowns, and Escape Artists, each bringing unique abilities to tactical turn-based battles. These confrontations pit the circus against a variety of foes drawn from Victorian archetypes, such as corrupted British Sailors and aggressive socialites, alongside more fantastical enemies like menacing Mimes and mechanical Robobears. The game’s narrative unfolds across six sprawling districts, blending a story-driven RPG experience with strategic combat and management elements. Beyond combat, Circus Electrique challenges players to rebuild and manage the circus itself, balancing the demands of thrilling performances with the ever-present need to maintain morale through the innovative Devotion system. This mechanic influences not only how characters perform in battle but also how successful their shows are, affecting revenue and the circus’s overall prosperity. Recruiting and training new talent from around the world, players must carefully consider performers’ skills and chemistry to create an unforgettable spectacle that funds their ongoing quest. With its distinctive art style inspired by vintage circus posters and Victorian steampunk aesthetics, Circus Electrique offers a unique blend of narrative depth, strategic gameplay, and immersive atmosphere.
