Kabaret (v1.0.14) [TorrentX]

Kabaret is a dark fantasy adventure set in the mysterious realm of Alam Bunian, where the line between humanity and monstrosity blurs. You follow Jebat, a young boy cursed and transformed into a monster, who finds himself far from his quiet hometown and thrust into a world teeming with supernatural beings drawn from Southeast Asian folklore. Taken under the wing of the enigmatic Caretaker, Jebat’s mission is to host tea ceremonies for the realm’s diverse and often tragic inhabitants. Through these intimate rituals, players uncover the stories and secrets of over twenty mythical creatures, each steeped in regional legends, while searching for a way to lift Jebat’s curse. Gameplay in Kabaret blends narrative exploration with unique cultural elements, offering a richly hand-drawn visual novel experience complemented by traditional Southeast Asian music. Beyond the engaging storytelling, players can participate in local minigames inspired by regional pastimes such as Guli and Congkak, and even manage stage performances that add layers of interaction and strategy. The choices you make throughout the game shape the story’s direction, leading to six distinct endings that reflect the complex relationships and moral dilemmas Jebat faces. With its atmospheric world, cultural depth, and emotionally charged narrative, Kabaret invites players to immerse themselves in a haunting yet beautiful folklore-inspired journey.
