Forza Polpo [TorrentX]

Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, *FORZA POLPO!* casts players as Polpo, a jet-powered mech capable of soaring great heights to collect mysterious floating shards scattered across the shattered landscape. This first-person platform shooter emphasizes vertical movement, challenging players to leap hundreds of feet from rooftop to rooftop, glide over broken bridges and silent beaches, and navigate past dormant nuclear plants. The game’s design draws inspiration from the cult classic *Jumping Flash!*, capturing the energetic, fast-paced spirit of ’90s arcade action while blending it with modern gameplay mechanics. Players must carefully manage a shared energy meter that governs both jumping and shooting, adding a strategic layer to the frantic platforming and combat. Two distinct modes offer varied experiences: Simulation mode introduces resource constraints for a more tactical challenge, while Arcade mode provides unlimited energy for unrestricted fun. The levels are crafted to support speedrunning, featuring tight design and smooth controls that work well on devices like the Steam Deck. Visually, *FORZA POLPO!* embraces vibrant low-poly graphics reminiscent of the PlayStation 1 era, accompanied by a dynamic ’90s-inspired soundtrack that complements the game’s retro-futuristic atmosphere. With its unique blend of vertical exploration, resource management, and nostalgic presentation, *FORZA POLPO!* offers a fresh take on first-person platforming in a beautifully ruined world.
