Selfloss [TorrentX]

Selfloss is an emotional adventure game set in a richly imagined fantasy world inspired by Slavic mythology and sea-worshipping cultures. Players follow Kazimir, an aging healer on a poignant quest to find a ritual capable of healing his soul’s deep wound. Traversing a stunning, atmospheric landscape by both boat and foot, Kazimir confronts the mysterious and spreading affliction known as Miasma. Central to the experience is Kazimir’s magical staff, which serves as both a source of light and a versatile tool. Players manipulate the staff in unique ways—sometimes controlling it independently from Kazimir—to combat enemies born from the Miasma, solve environmental puzzles, and cleanse the land from darkness. The game’s world is filled with memorable characters and evocative stories, blending Slavic folklore with a sea-faring culture that reveres whale gods. Exploration plays a key role as players navigate winding rivers and treacherous waters, using the staff’s power to propel Kazimir’s boat and bring healing to those burdened by loss. The narrative weaves together themes of grief, healing, and hope, all underscored by a moving soundtrack from composer Arigto that deepens the emotional resonance of Kazimir’s journey. Selfloss invites players to immerse themselves in a hauntingly beautiful world where myth and magic intertwine, offering a thoughtful adventure grounded in both its setting and its heartfelt storytelling.
