Inspector Schmidt: A Bavarian Tale (A Bavarian Tale: Totgeschwiegen) (v1.0.1.721) [TorrentX]

Inspector Schmidt - The Ebbing is a detective RPG set in the coastal town of Havstedt in 1870, a period marked by the dawn of transatlantic telegraph communication and the tensions of the Franco-Prussian War. Players step into the shoes of Valentin Schmidt, a young civil servant whose holiday takes a dark turn when the body of Bente Hansen is discovered at the local telegraph station. As Schmidt, you navigate a richly detailed open world, investigating eerie telegraph signals, cryptic symbols appearing around town, and the whispered threat of a mysterious beast stalking the nearby moor. The game blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and dialogue-driven investigation, challenging you to question villagers, uncover hidden clues, and piece together a complex web of secrets and lies while avoiding danger. Gameplay in The Ebbing emphasizes careful observation and deduction, with refined mechanics that encourage thorough investigation through a new Detective Sweep system, allowing players to examine environments and objects for subtle evidence. Conversations require you to balance persuasion and interrogation, while skill checks inspired by classic pen-and-paper RPGs add an element of chance and strategy to your progress. Stealth plays a significant role, with improved mechanics that keep tense encounters engaging and customizable difficulty settings that let you tailor the experience to your preferred level of challenge. As you develop Valentin’s skills and craft helpful items, your choices influence the story’s outcome, creating a dynamic narrative where every decision matters. Whether you prefer a guided story mode or a more demanding detective experience, Inspector Schmidt - The Ebbing offers a atmospheric journey into a town shadowed by secrets and suspense.
