ROUTINE (v1.7.0.0) [TorrentX]

ROUTINE is a first-person sci-fi horror game set on an abandoned lunar base envisioned through the lens of 1980s futurism. Players begin with a simple mission to investigate the sudden silence from the base, but what starts as a curious exploration quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival. As you delve deeper into the eerie, deserted corridors and facilities—from crumbling living quarters and tram stations to an empty shopping mall—you encounter a hostile presence that sees you as the main threat. The story unfolds through environmental clues and data logs, challenging you to piece together the events that led to the base’s downfall while navigating increasingly dangerous unknowns. The gameplay emphasizes careful observation and immersive exploration, with no waypoint markers to guide you. Instead, players must slow down, study their surroundings, and use their Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) to interact with terminals, gather critical information, and uncover hidden paths forward. The game’s design features full body awareness, diegetic audio, and a minimal user interface, creating a tense and atmospheric experience that pulls you deeper into the mystery. When confronted by threats, survival depends on stealth, evasion, and sometimes defensive use of the C.A.T., heightening the sense of vulnerability throughout your journey on the moon.
