"Sunspiracy" (or Sunspiracy: The Age of Endarkenment) is an alternative documentary film and ongoing series produced by David Icke's streaming platform, Ickonic. The project argues that public fears about sun exposure and the widespread demonization of UV rays are a manufactured narrative designed to keep humanity in poor health. The core claims and themes promoted in the Sunspiracy films and articles include: - The "Nefarious Interests" Agenda: The film alleges that hidden forces within society and corporations have intentionally shaped public fears regarding sun exposure to sever humanity's natural connection to solar energies. - Humanity as "Solar Batteries": It promotes the concept that human beings are essentially batteries composed of water that are naturally meant to be charged by sunlight. - Beyond Vitamin D: The narrative claims that sunlight exposure is vital for more than just Vitamin D production, arguing it provides necessary "code" that regulates the immune system and protects against autoimmunity and inflammation. - Rejection of Artificial Light & Sunscreen: It critiques the widespread introduction of LED lights into modern life and suggests that avoiding the sun has led to worse health outcomes for the planet. The documentary was directed by Christianne van Wijk and features a series of interviews promoting alternative health and the benefits of viewing sunlight as essential nutrition.
