8 files — 1.6 GBAbtos Covert places you in the role of a lone soldier stationed at a remote forest outpost, tasked with surviving increasingly hostile nights while uncovering the unsettling truth behind eerie local legends. Set against a hauntingly realistic woodland backdrop, the game blends psychological horror with tactical survival elements. Armed only with limited equipment such as cameras, motion sensors, spotlights, and hiding spots, you must carefully monitor your surroundings to fend off mysterious entities that lurk in the darkness. Each enemy exhibits unique behaviors, requiring you to adapt your strategies and stay alert to audio cues that hint at nearby dangers. As the nights progress, the tension steadily escalates, with threats becoming more unpredictable and deadly. Alongside the immediate struggle for survival, you piece together clues left by previous guards, slowly unraveling the grim history of the outpost and the supernatural forces at play. Managing scarce resources like power adds a layer of urgency to your decisions, forcing you to balance risk and caution. With immersive sound design and atmospheric environments amplifying the sense of isolation, Abtos Covert challenges players to confront the unknown or risk becoming part of the chilling legends that haunt the forest. The game also includes a Photo Mode, allowing players to capture and share striking images from their tense vigil.
