GRADIUS ORIGINS (v1.001.000) [TorrentX]

Gradius Origins is a comprehensive collection that brings together 18 versions from all seven arcade entries in the iconic Gradius series, offering a rich retrospective of the franchise’s evolution. Notably, it includes the first home console appearance of Gradius III AM Show Version, a rare and sought-after installment. Set across various sci-fi environments filled with intense space combat, the games follow the classic Gradius formula where players pilot the Vic Viper starfighter, battling waves of enemies and massive bosses while strategically upgrading weapons and power-ups to survive increasingly challenging stages. This compilation enhances the classic shoot ’em up experience with modern features aimed at both newcomers and longtime fans. Players can make use of save states and a rewind function to ease the difficulty curve, while an Invincible Mode allows for stress-free exploration of the levels. The new Training Mode offers customizable options such as restart points, loop counts, and power-up settings, helping players refine their skills and master the intricate gameplay mechanics. Beyond gameplay, the collection includes a gallery filled with artwork and music from across the series, providing a deeper appreciation of the franchise’s history and aesthetic. Gradius Origins serves as both a tribute to and a definitive anthology of one of shoot ’em up gaming’s most enduring legacies.
