Broken Roads (v1.2.8) [TorrentX]

Broken Roads is a narrative-driven RPG set in a post-apocalyptic version of Western Australia, where players navigate a desolate landscape filled with rich lore, complex characters, and intricate political intrigues. Drawing inspiration from classic role-playing games like Pillars of Eternity and Fallout, the game combines traditional storytelling with fresh mechanics to deliver a deep and immersive experience. Players explore diverse environments—from the barren Outback to crumbling urban centers—while uncovering secrets and confronting moral dilemmas that challenge their perspectives on right and wrong. The world is brought to life through vivid dialogue and atmospheric descriptions, creating a compelling backdrop for the unfolding story. At the heart of Broken Roads is a flexible, classless character development system that offers nearly unlimited ways to shape your protagonist’s abilities and playstyle. The game introduces an innovative “Moral Compass” system, which moves beyond simple notions of good and evil by focusing on the character’s philosophical leanings. Choices in dialogue and quests influence your character’s worldview, which in turn affects future interactions and story outcomes. For example, embracing utilitarian principles might prioritize the greater good over individual lives, while other moral paths offer different perspectives and consequences. This dynamic system ensures that every decision contributes to a personalized journey, where your character’s evolving beliefs and alliances shape the overall narrative in meaningful ways.
