Come on in, have a seat by the fire, and hear how it all began…
He’s barely set foot in the city when someone recognizes him as Archibold Stormblood, the immortal hero of legend. Worse, a lieutenant of the local crime lord overhears the exchange.
Not exactly the best way to start a vacation.
Charm, his companion, watches with her usual unreadable calm. She doesn’t raise her voice, but her rebukes cut like a blade. To her, his plan is reckless, foolish, and bound to fail.
But for Archibold, it’s all worth the risk if he can become a tavern keeper and maybe—just maybe—live a quiet, simple life for once.
Unfortunately, for a hero, nothing is ever that easy.
Can Arch find the right establishment to call home? Can he repair what’s unraveling between him and Charm? Or will the past catch up before he even has the chance?
Smart, funny, and surprisingly heartfelt, the light-novel inspired Tipsy Pelican Tavern series is an all-ages fantasy adventure with over 40,000 copies sold. Now, brought to life by veteran narrators Joshua Story and Laurie Catherine Winkel. This novella can be enjoyed by longtime fans or brand-new listeners alike—an excellent way to enter the series or rediscover the magic ahead of the next installment of the Tipsy Pelican Tavern series.
