Blue October - Spinning the Truth Around (Acoustic) (2022) FLAC [TorrentX]

This is a superb performance with flawless playing from the Clevelanders under Szell. The recording also stands up well despite its age and allows all the colour and exuberance of the dances to be revealed. There are odd moments when the precise playing can feel slightly clinical (often said of Szell in Cleveland) but the disc still deserves its place amongst the very best. This is a disc to have alongside Kubelik and the BRSO - who are a touch more warmly rustic in their interpretations. Szell is a must-have. (Customer from Amazon) Slavonic Dances Op. 46 01.
